Meet Rawad

Rawad is a middle child in a family of 7 siblings. She's grown up at ALC and will be starting her 8th and final year this fall. Rawad is active in many activities such as the Bible Art club, Pathfinder Club, and Music club. She's known for her helpfulness and willingness to always look for ways to make life easier for others. She has a strong personality and isn't scared to speak her mind or stand up when she sees something that isn't right. When reflecting on her time at ALC Rawad says, "The ALC Center has been a great support for me because I find a community where I feel comfortable. My relationships with my friends and teachers are special. Here, we learn about God and feel happy and thankful for that. I want to be a criminal investigator in the future, and at ALC, I can understand many different feelings and actions because of our diversity. This helps me learn about people as well."
