Meet Mariam ali

Mariam loves learning. At home she’s always got a pencil and notepad in her hand writing down new things. She enjoys making videos to share her knowledge with others. In class she’s always one of the first to grasp new concepts or answer questions. Her favorite subject is English and she enjoys drawing. She has excellent story writing skills and is always working on expanding her vocabulary. A highlight of last school year was being able to run in the Beirut Marathon 5k where she was one of the fastest girls from in her age group from ALC. Mariam speaks Kurdish, Arabic, and English and counts this as one of the things she’s proud of. She wants to be known as both a smart and a wise person.
