Meet Abdullah

Abdullah is excited to start 2nd grade. His favorite time at ALC is during field trips because he feels happy and enjoys sharing the experience with his friends. He enjoys studying English because he wants to be as good at speaking it as his sisters are. Abdullah is the 8th of 9 siblings, three brothers and five sisters, all of whom he loves very much. Like every refugee, Abdullah and his family dream of traveling abroad together to a place where they can have a real life, instead of living in poverty and struggle as refugees.. In his free time, he likes playing on his phone and watching cartoons. He helps his mother with housework and has a kind heart; he doesn't like to see her sad. After being the baby of his family for 5 years, he struggles some times to share the spotlight with his little sister, especially with his father who is his favorite person in the family.
