Meet Aveen

Aveen is an eleven year old Kurdish girl that's in the 6th grade. She’s a social butterfly that loves school, her friends, and especially all things artistic. Last year in 4th grade she worked hard to be in the 3rd in her class and her English skills paid off when she won 2nd place in the 3rd/4th grade writing competition at the end of the school year. She and her younger brother Ivan, have been attending ALC since 2020. Aveen is excited for 5th grade because she loves learning together with her friends. She hopes to one day be a cardiologist and help people who don’t have anyone to help them.
