Meet Youssef

Youssef is one of two siblings at ALC, and the reason behind his dream of becoming an engineer is both inspiring and meaningful. As he was growing up, he learned that his mother once hoped to become an engineer but was unable to complete her studies. Youssef wants to fulfill that dream on her behalf and hopes to one day help rebuild his country, Syria, which has been deeply affected by war. His favorite subject is English because he finds it fun and easy to learn. Youssef is also known for his respectful and thoughtful attitude in class. He enjoys helping his classmates and is always ready to encourage others to do their best.
